Self portrait
I am an architect trained in Chile (Architect and MArch, PUC Chile). My work focuses on the role of graphical representation within architectural design and project narrative, particularly how it shapes, communicates, and evolves alongside the built environment.
My interests lie in observing how architecture adapts to cultural change and how visual language can both inform and challenge architectural qualities. I use illustration as an open field for architectural exploration, where spatial ideas, materiality, and atmosphere can be tested without constraints. My practice moves between independent visual work and my architectural studio in Chile, where I design and build small- to medium-scale projects with a direct, hands-on approach.
Alongside my own projects, I produce architectural visualizations for local and international firms, exhibit my visual work, and have co-authored and published two illustrated books. I have also contributed to large public building projects, applying color strategies and integrating visual arts to establish a clear dialogue with local culture, context, and environment.
